We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented R&D Agronomist to join our dynamic team at FruitSpec.
As an R&D Agronomist, you will play a critical role in field operations and research activities related to our sensors technology and yield inventory platform. This role involves conducting research on fruit growth using the FruitSpec sensor technology, planning and executing field experiments, and deriving valuable conclusions from the collected data.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the COO and R&D team to design and execute experiments and field tests using FruitSpec's sensors technology in orchards.
- Conduct research on fruit growth, collecting and analyzing data to support the development of accurate prediction models for yield inventory.
- Utilize data analysis techniques and tools to effectively process and interpret research data.
- Collaborate with the development team to define product limitations and provide valuable insights for improvement.
- Create user instructions and documentation for the proper operation and maintenance of FruitSpec's sensors.
- Location: Ein vered/TLV, Full-time job.
Requirements:
- MSc. degree in agriculture, horticulture, agronomy, or a related field – Mandatory.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including statistical analysis and data visualization – Mandatory.
- Proven track record in planning and executing field experiments and research projects – Mandatory.
- Relevant working experience in agricultural research, preferably in fruit growth analysis – Advantage.
- Ability to derive meaningful conclusions and actionable recommendations from research data.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the software R&D team and other stakeholders.
