Head of Smart Solutions For a successful company in the Smart Water industry
job description:
• The team is responsible for the development, production and sales of products that are used for monitoring, managing, and controlling water resources.
• The main objective of the head of the smart solution group will be to put us in a leading position in the marketplace by offering products that enable monitoring and controlling of the mechanical products produced by the company that are interfacing with existing and future management and control systems in the market.
• Gain a deep understanding of customer needs (feedback, market research...) and requirements and translate these into a strategic business plan based on our solutions and product portfolio
• Manage sales of the smart solutions and assist the sales teams to communicate value proposition
• Responsibility over the P&L of the company smart solutions – planning, execution, and reporting
• Build and lead a highly competent core team that work collaboratively to design, develop, and deliver the best possible user-experience for our customers
• Direct Cloud & IoT Project R&D management combining wireless connectivity hardware and embedded software development according to the marketing plan
• Partner with the R&D, sales, and operations to gain understanding of the required products, features, and processes
• Lead and work with regulators and figure out the most efficient way to comply with standards and regulations
•Manage external contractors to ensure project plans are met
Requirements:
•T echnical engineering background in SW Engineering – 3-5 years of experience
• Experienced with managing and integrating multi-disciplinary state of the art technology, including hardware, firmware, cloud-based software etc.
• Familiarity with products and/or smart solutions in Smart City applications – experience in the water industry – advantage!
• Proven experience with product management methodology – from market research through business plan to product launch
