About the Role
WeAgri is looking for a hands-on Project Manager to lead regenerative agriculture projects from field implementation through measurement and verification. This role combines agronomy, fieldwork with farmers, and project delivery in the carbon and sustainability space.
You’ll coordinate field operations, work closely with farmers and consultants, manage project timelines, and make sure environmental goals are achieved and documented to international standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage project work plans, timelines, budgets, and environmental targets.
• Lead operational activities with farmers — training, coordination, and field implementation of regenerative or carbon-smart practices.
• Coordinate with environmental consultants for measurements, validation, and document preparation for standard bodies (MRV process).
• Oversee project execution and monitor field data, risks, and deliverables.
• Manage communication with suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare progress and performance reports for management and partners.
• Integrate innovation and applied R&D activities into ongoing projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related field — required
• M.Sc (research track) — advantage
• Practical knowledge in agricultural (soil, irrigation, and crop system).
• Experience working with farmers or agricultural stakeholders
• Ability to provide technical guidance and field support.
• Ability to interpret agronomic and environmental data.
• Experience with data analysis tools or basic statistics.
• High-level English — written and spoken.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and disciplined documentation.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage field and office operations effectively.
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) - advantage
• Familiarity with carbon farming, sustainability reporting, or environmental certification – advantage (Training provided).
• Valid driver’s license — required.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in the field.
